It’s Vacherin season, and we’re excited to announce our first Vacherin evenings at George & Joseph.
Vacherin - or Mont D’Or - is a rich, soft cow’s milk cheese that’s made in the Jura region of France and Switzerland. It’s only made in the winter months, when the cows come down from the high pastures (where their milk is used to make Comte).
We’ll be serving up Vacherin Boîte Chaude - a fabulous warming treat that’s great to share. We’ll bake a whole Vacherin in it’s spruce box until it’s lovely and melty, and serve it with potatoes and charcuterie.
Tickets are priced at £30 per person, please be aware that each Vacherin is enough for two people, so if you’re coming by yourself then you will get to share with someone else.
Alcoholic and soft drinks will be available on the night to buy.
