My first cheese selling adventure - Chapel Allerton Easter Eggstravaganza

Easter Sunday (yesterday) was my first time selling cheese at a fair - I took a stall at the CARA Easter Eggstravaganza in Chapel Allerton.

The gloomy grey skies may have threatened, but thankfully the rain held off and brought out lots of people to have fun with the CARA guys, who'd laid on lots of fun and games for the family.

One the stall there was a great selection of Lacey's cheese:

  • Sage Derby
  • Blue
  • Olive Mescolate
  • Smoked Cheddar
  • Mature Cheddar
  • Traditional Wensleydale
  • Brie

There was also a seletion of fantastic chutneys made by the guys from Pudsey Pickles.   I met lots of cheese fans, who were very keen on the cheeses and chutneys we had on sale.  The brightly marbled green cheese was the star of the day, proving a great talking point as was very popular.  The Olive Mescalate was also a popular choice.

If you'd like to buy any of the cheeses I had on sale today then please email stephen@georgeandjoseph.co.uk.

Thanks go to Simon Lacey from Lacey's Cheese, Daryl and Lee from Pudsey Pickles, and Matt and the rest of the CARA team for all their help.
