Updated NHS Advice on Pregnancy-Friendly Cheese

The NHS has recently changed it's advise on what is safe to eat during pregnancy in regard to dairy and cheese.

Their current recommendations state that it is best to just eat hard pasteurised cheeses. Soft pasteurised cheeses are ok according to the NHS website however if a soft cheese has a white mould ripened rind then you cannot eat it. They advise that all unpasteurised cheese should not be eaten and that all soft blues are a No No.

Take a look at our pregnancy friendly cheeses page for a full breakdown of NHS advice.
