Village Maid Cheese established in 1986. Originally run by Anne and Andy Wigmore, now by their son Jake, and his wife, Kayleigh. Anne started the business producing Spenwood, a hard ewe's milk cheese. Waterloo, a soft cows milk cheese, was then developed, and the next in the family was, Wigmore.
Wigmore, is Village Maid's soft, washed curd, ewes' milk cheese; delicate in flavour, and pleasing on the palate.
