We're Hiring Christmas Cheesemongers!

george and joseph cheesemongers are hiring christmas cheesemongers
As we head towards our busiest time of the year we are looking for Seasonal Cheesemongers to join our team this December.
You will work closely with our already well established team to fulfil our Christmas orders over the busy period running up to Christmas Day - shipping, wholesale, collection and local delivery.
The job will involve cutting, wrapping and labelling cheese; picking orders; and packing orders ready for our delivery drivers to collect.
Our expert team of cheesemongers will be on hand to provide on the job training. Starting on part time hours for the first two weeks of December while you get to grips you will then move to full time hours for the two weeks running up to Christmas Day. You must have full availability from the 16th December to the 24th.
Shifts will generally be about 8 hours long, based in Leeds City Centre with some time in Chapel Allerton, we offer a competitive hourly rate of £9.50ph. We work in shifts which will not be your traditional 9am - 5pm day. You must be flexible on location and hours of work.
You must be a quick learner, thrive in a busy environment, be able to deal with pressure and work well as part of a close-knit team. Ideally you will have previous food service experience but if not a willingness to learn and a hard working ethos will do you well.
Great present wrapping skills would be a real plus! If you love cheese as much as we do this is the job for you.
Please only apply via email with a covering letter to jobs@georgeandjoseph.co.uk (applications via DM will not be accepted).
